Due to the impending storm, the Town Hall Meeting tonight at Rowan College has been cancelled. We will update you when/if it is rescheduled as well as other events where you will have the ability to express your concerns to our legislators about the shore tax.

A quick update: Our legislation remains in review to clarify the language. There was a really good article written this week by Paul Mulshine of The Star Ledger, that outlines our issue really well and it can be found here: Shore rental tax: The sausage should be put on the back burner The good news is, The Legislative Leadership is engaged, and focused on our issue, and is looking for a means to correct this “unintended consequence” right away!

The next scheduled meetings for the committees our bills have been assigned to are on March 7, 2019. Therefore, since we won’t have the opportunity to ask Senate President Sweeney directly at the meeting tonight, we are asking that you send him a quick email, and urge him to pass Senator Andrzejczak’s Bill S-3133 as soon as possible! His email is SenSweeney@njleg.org

Small steps, but still moving in the right direction. Thank you again for your continued support to help us get this correction and to save the Shore Tourism Economy this summer!
